Located in the bustling heart of Seattle’s iconic Pike Place Market, Aditi Chai offers an authentic taste of Indian chai culture that stands out as a true gem for tea lovers. This charming grab-and-go tea booth specializes in crafting traditional masala chai and other exquisite tea blends, each made fresh daily with carefully balanced spices and rich, creamy milk. The moment you take a sip, you’re greeted by a harmonious blend of warming cinnamon, cardamom, and ginger, delivering a sensory experience reminiscent of bustling street stalls in India.
What makes Aditi Chai truly special isn’t just the quality of their tea but also the warm, personal touch from the owner and staff. Customers consistently praise the friendly, attentive service—like Danny, who goes above and beyond by keeping a customer’s forgotten book safe until it could be reclaimed. This kind of genuine care transforms a simple tea stop into a memorable moment of kindness and connection.
Many patrons rave about the rich, perfectly spiced masala chai, which is praised for being just sweet enough without overpowering the natural vigor of the spices. Whether you prefer it piping hot or iced with creamy oat milk, the flavors are expertly layered. The Golden Latte is another delightful option, beloved for its warm, earthy turmeric notes that invigorate and soothe simultaneously. At just $6 a cup, Aditi Chai offers exceptional value with a heartfelt experience that feels both exotic and comfortably familiar.
Although the booth is designed for quick takeaway without seating, it’s an ideal pick-me-up while exploring Pike Place Market’s vibrant food scene. Many visitors make it a ritual stop, finding comfort in the consistency and authenticity of each cup—a taste that transports them straight to India’s bustling streets while nestled in the Pacific Northwest.
For anyone seeking a true, artisanal chai experience in Seattle, Aditi Chai is a must-visit. The combination of impeccable flavors, warm hospitality, and prime location make it a standout destination for locals and travelers alike. If you’re craving some authentic masala chai this is the place to check out! It’s a grab and go booth for takeaway orders, no seating. They have tea & snacks. Great customer service by Danny, I had left my book behind and she held onto it for me until I realized I had left it behind. Happy to have great chai and my book back, cheers!

Yum yum yum!!! Spent the entire day eating through Pike Place Market, and needed caffeine but was already 2 lattes deep in the day… enter Aditi Chai! I got the masala chai, and my partner got the Golden Latte. Both were flavorful, warm and just the pick me up we needed. The owner was also very friendly/really helpful!

If you like chai, put this on your list when you visit Pike Place in Seattle! Authentic, made fresh each morning (not milk mixed with concentrate)... I got the traditional masala iced with oat milk and it was fantastic. Good spices, not too sweet...perfect!

Yum, so delicious!! It is exactly like the chai I get in India. The staff are so friendly and they offered me samples of both flavors. It was hard to pick between the two! I highly recommend Aditi Chai.

Such a delicious and authentic chai competes with hometown favorites in Queens,NY. The mom and daughter duo were the sweetest and were apart of the awesome experience.
